Contracts Manager

This position manages the contractual support and administration for necessary goods and services in support of

  • Provide cradle to grave support handling multiple bid opportunities, proposal work, negotiations, contract award and administration of the resultant contracts.
  • Negotiate, analyze, and provide input into the preparation and revision of contracts and subcontracts to ensure customer and corporate objectives are met.
  • Monitor company performance for conformance to the original proposal and maintain continual reviews to ensure that all terms and conditions are met and that the contract is in accordance with legal requirements, customer specifications, and government regulations.
  • Serve as point of contact for customers both internal and external in regard to contractual matters.
  • Analyze and interpret Federal Government regulations including FAR and DFAR while ensuring compliance with DCAA.
  • Advise management on contractual rights and obligations and interpret terms and conditions.
  • Understand contractual opportunities and assist in the formulation of contract policies, procedures, methods, operating practices, and performance standards.
  • Assist in planning and scheduling contract and regulatory compliance activities, including internal and external reviews and audits (e.g., DCAA and other independent agencies).
  • Experience with all forms of government solicitations (RFP, RFQ, and other forms) and managing all forms of government contracts (Cost-type, FFP, T&M ID/IQ contracts, GWACS, and GSA Multiple Award Schedules), including reviewing and understanding pricing, representations and certifications, and subcontracting issues.
  • Experience analyzing, formulating, negotiating contract documents such as Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), Teaming Agreements (TAs), etc.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in a related field. (preferred)
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of experience with government contracting.
  • 2 years of experience working with Deltek. Cost Point 7 is critical.
  • Contracts Management certifications such as CFCM highly desired.
  • Working knowledge of applicable Federal contracting regulations, including FAR, DFAR, and agency unique supplements.
