Job Description

Our caregivers work together to provide a collaborative, friendly environment and provide safe, quality, and individualized care and services.Our Director of Contracting leads a Center of Excellence (COE) team of engaged contracting caregivers to provide the best possible experience for our customer and supplier stakeholders. This role is responsible for all aspects of the operational, managerial, and strategic aspects of the Contracting COE to effectively manage all non-labor spend of the company. This position will lead and manage a team of supply chain professionals, will work within the Procurement Supply Chain Organization (SCO) function, cross-functionally, with other hospital organizations, and with the broader SCO to meet goals and improve processes and outcomes.

Minimum Requirements
- Master’s degree from an accredited institution in Supply Chain, Healthcare, or Business (Education will be verified).
- Equivalent work experience in contracting and leadership may substitute degree requirement.
- Capability of operationalizing large teams, establishing operating model structure, standardizing processes, and effective communication.
- Capability delivering significant financial, quality, and service results.
- Capability in motivating a team, public speaking, leveraging data, and adoption of technology
- Leadership experience.
Physical Requirements
- Interact with others by effectively communicating, both orally and in writing.
- Operate computers and other office equipment requiring the ability to move fingers and hands.
- See and read computer monitors and documents.
- Remain sitting or standing for long periods of time to perform work on a computer, telephone, or other equipment.
- May require lifting and transporting objects and office supplies, bending, kneeling and reaching.
Preferred Qualifications
- 8 years of managerial leadership is highly preferred.
- Center of Excellence, contracting management expertise, is highly preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of healthcare supply chain, product, service, software, and equipment knowledge, is highly preferred.
