City Building and Engineering Services (CBES) offers the full spectrum of professional services to support multiple vertical markets. The firm offers Planning, Design/Engineering, Construction Management, Project & Program Management and Energy Program Management services. With a deep background supporting the multi-site retail industry, CBES utilizes its core expertise to support clients who are looking for business partners for a variety of tasks ranging from multi-site rollouts to unique engineered solutions for critical system infrastructure. Vice President of Operations – professional services

We are currently looking for a VP of Operations to provide business leadership for our professional services firm. The VP of Operations will manage day to day operations of the CBES business to include P&L management, direct staff leadership, and business plan/growth management. CBES has an aggressive revenue generation plan that includes growth in existing services, new services, and both vertical and geographic markets.

The VP of Operations will report directly to the SVP Operations of City Northeast.

Requirements for this position include:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience through increasingly responsible positions within a professional services or similar environment
  • Experience leading staff and business units
  • Four year degree, masters degree preferred
  • Deep training and experience in business management to include operations, finance and data/analytics
  • Ability to travel up to 20%.
