The Burchfield Group, an Aon Company part of Aon’s National Pharmacy Consulting practice, is a leading audit and consulting firm providing expertise to health plans in health benefits auditing, regulatory compliance, and pharmacy benefit consulting. We provide our clients with a 360° view of their operation that helps them reduce regulatory and financial risk, increase accountability, and maximize savings. We are currently looking for a Vice President of Health Plan Sales to join our Health Plan team.
This position is accountable for providing strategic direction for our client relationships and driving revenue growth for our organization.
The Vice President, Health Plan Sales- Pharmacy will:
Manage, retain and expand current client relationships. Leverage a deep understanding of our client’s needs to create a solution that includes compelling value-added services. Drive results for our clients and manage relationships for revenue growth and retention.
Initiate and develop new client relationships. Build effective relationships with key decision-makers of prospects to initiate and develop new client engagements.
Provide strategic direction for client relationships. Define a customized course of action for clients that enables them to proactively reduce risk and maximize savings. Prepare and guide internal experts to develop and deliver solutions to exceed the expectations of our clients.
You Bring Knowledge and Expertise
A qualified candidate will possess the following skills, attributes and expertise: 10+ years of relevant consulting and business development/sales experience in a PBM, benefit consulting, or health plan environment. Industry leader with expertise in pharmacy benefits, health plan operations, or regulatory compliance. C-suite selling experience. Experience negotiating complex client contracts. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Executive presence and demonstrated ability to manage client relationships. Strong leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to inspire and produce results. Proven ability to work in a progressive, fast paced environment. Relevant undergraduate degree required. Committed to travel 30-50%.
Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of industry experience.
