Core Responsibilities:
- Oversee sales of complex technical products to new and existing customers while providing integral solutions for customersâ needs.
- Calculate and quote the sale of hot runner systems, complete hot halves, molds and maintenance repairs.
- Verify and approve calculations and quotes issued from Sales Team.
- Provide a long-term, added value, relationship to our customers through service, problem solving, startup and product training on-site and remotely.
- Participate in customer design reviews, on-site and web-based.
- Develop strategies that will increase customer satisfaction.
- Communicate, daily, with the Inside Sales Team to update any developments relevant to the technical sales process, ensuring a smooth transition.
- Ensure that Regional Sales Managers are kept informed of any developments relevant to their customer accounts.
- Ensure all orders received are entered into SAP (ERP System) accurately.
- Develop and maintain a customer and prospect database.
- Represent the company at trade exhibitions.
- Provide technical presentations.
- Provide monthly reporting including analysis of costs and sales.
- Provide training and support material to the Sales Team.
Education
Preferred
- Bachelors or better in Plastics Engineering
