POSITION TITLE, HOURS & COMPENSATION

· Technical Project Manager

· 15-20 hours/week, initially, with opportunity for more, up to full time.

· Mostly remote, with some on site required.

· $55-65/hour, plus possible commissions

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Prioritize, plan, and execute holistic technology transformation projects such as, but not limited to, data center migrations, cloud-based application implementations, and WAN transformations.

· Manage multi-projects for multiple clients.

· Manage projects with a business analyst mindset. Be able to formulate effective questions and ask business and technical stakeholders “why?”

· Provide timely project updates and visibility into any factors impacting scope, schedule, and cost to third-party services providers and client stakeholders.

· Coordinate and lead meetings between multiple parties, including third-party vendors, client stakeholders and internal Blue Tree personnel and hold all accountable according to RACI charts.

· Identify gaps and risks in project plans and escalate accordingly.

· Create and maintain project artifacts including stakeholder presentations, project charters & plans, status reports, risk management reports, retrospectives, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor’s degree in related field

· Minimum of 3 years’ experience using project management methods & principles.

– CAPM or PMP Preferred, not required

· Extensive experience utilizing Microsoft Project, Smartsheet and similar project management applications.

· Familiarity with telecommunications, infrastructure, software applications and cloud-based technologies a must.

· Be able to work in the SF Bay area. Initially at client site, then transitioning to more of a remote role.
