Tactical Project Manager

Job Location:

· Location remote anywhere, though strong preference Tulsa

Major Activities:

• Submit Design Updates NetBuilds – track, manage and close
• Resolve MAC (Modify Add Change) conflicts on design update NetBuilds
• Submit GCRs (Global Change Request) to schedule groom activity and customer notifications
• Coordinate IP grooms with Service Provider or 3rd Party Vendor Team
• Open Exception Tasks for Field Work, at remote sites
• Prepare 3rd party cutsheet
• Verify Third Party Vendor cross-connects
• Obtain Customer LOA where required through Telecom Service Provider customer account teams
• Place order with Third Party Vendor
• Coordinate 3rd party vendor (Equinix, Telx, Coresite, etc.) to perform cross connects on their equipment/panels
• Submit Decom NetBuilds to decommission TIDs
• Track project status and report into Telco Service Provider NAT database and to Program Manager

Requisite Skills / Work Experience:

· Shall be familiar with various technologies in Transmission / IP Network, DWDM, OTN & SDH

· 6 to 8 years of relevant experience in Telecom Sector and hands-on experience

· Good Knowledge about network traffic planning and migration of Transport & IP network

· Desirable Knowledge & exposure of Multi-vendor Transmission / DWDM/ IP (Router & Switches) products

· Should have strong MS Office experience / knowledge
