The Global Field Service Practice Director is responsible for working with Appirio Sales teams, Salesforce alliance teams, and broader Wipro account and vertical teams to source, identify, and position field services capabilities across all customer industries/verticals, working closely with the Appirio/Wipro clients at C-Level . The Global Field Service Practice Director should be familiar with the core field services concepts around territory definition, skills-based routing, dynamic dispatch, preventative maintenance, parts logistics, inventory management, return merchandize authorization, route planning, work order closure, and related field service processes.
Responsibilities

This role entails deep process knowledge of Field Services and is equal parts pre sales and delivery execution

Ability to communicate at all levels including C-Suite executives as well as end users in the field.

Must be able to hold their own as a Field Services process and supporting technology expert.

Assist in responding to RFP’s, proposal development, high level estimation of level of effort involved in development and conceptual design for Services Organizations.

Oversees and helps ensure the successful execution of sold work in the form of project-based engagements

Active in nurturing, growing, and recruiting Field Service domain and technology team members within the organization

Participates in the industry as a thought leader and with clients as a trusted advisor to Field Service process and technology solutions

Assess the feasibility and tradeoffs of different technology options and recommend choices that fit the constraints of the client timeline, budget, and skills.

Prior Sales and Delivery experience in ServiceMax, ClickSoftware, Oracle Field Services, and Salesforce Field Services Lightning is a plus.

Works directly with clients and the Appirio team to lead projects, facilitates business process analysis sessions, develops and delivers key components of technology solution.
Education and Required Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or equivalent combination of education and experience. MBA is a plus.

10-15 years of industry experience with a solid understanding of cloud technologies and Salesforce eco system
-
Located and able to work in the U.S. from a home office and able to travel up to 40-60%
-
At least 3-5 large scale Field Services project sales experience and end-to-end delivery experience is a plus.
