The overall responsibility of a Fantastic Sams Region Director is to influence franchisees to achieve quality operations. The Region Director will lead and direct the field team to drive revenue, growth and business development. This position will maintain and manage profit and loss metrics for their assigned region.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Foster a positive, proactive and professional relationship with franchisees and their staff
- Identify and present solutions to operational challenges; provide follow-up to support resolution
- Influence franchisee compliance to license agreements, demonstrating consistency with high level of ethically-based decisions.
- Manage, coach and mentor FBCs to meet key performance indicators; manage Region Coordinator
- Analyze business metrics of assigned franchisee locations to identify opportunities to drive profitability
- Cultivate growth in Fantastic Sams system by driving franchise owners and managers to increase sales volume and profitability
- Facilitate regular ownerâs meetings, effectively communicating relevant and region-specific initiatives
- Ensure streamlined development process with their Franchise Agreement for franchisee during new location openings
- Serve as a liaison between marketing, real estate, and legal departments and the franchisee
- Facilitate requests of legal documents including transfers, amendments, renewals, and new license signing
- Spearhead local RAF or co-op board meetings and initiatives
- Implement training materials and provide on-going training and technical education support
- Ensure that each franchise unit meets the company standards for safety, hospitality, quality, service and cleanliness; hold franchisee accountable for non-compliance
- Arrange and lead annual regional-based group training, working with the Director, Franchise Training
- Manage all royalties and abatements, as well as transfers and salon upgrades
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- BS/BA
- 4-6 years in field support with a franchise organization
- Strong consultative skills, with a history of working in a consultative function
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, as well as listening skills
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to multi-task, have strong organization skills, and be detail-minded
