Plans, manages, and coordinates the daily operations that support the Division’s STOP School Violence Program; develops divisionwide training to prevent school violence situations using evidence-based strategies; collaborates with university, private sector and government agency partners to create training that focuses on identifying and implementing strategy and response following school crises.
Qualifications
Master’s degree. Five years of progressively more responsible experience in field of specialty. Postgraduate Professional License or Pupil Personnel License with endorsements in school counseling, school psychology or school social work. Endorsement in administration and supervision preK-12 preferred. Knowledge of project management principles, practices, methods, current trends, materials, and software. Knowledge of mental health theory and practice. Knowledge of online training applications. Conflict resolution skills in an education setting, preferably with students at risk. Proficiency in the use of technology and data compilation, analysis, and reporting. Proven project management skills and the ability to successfully manage and execute complex projects through to on-time completion. Ability to plan, organize, prioritize, and oversee project work/activities with multiple deliverables. Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with other professionals within the school and the community. Ability to apply creative solutions to complex problems and develop new ideas and concepts. Attention to detail and skilled in critical thinking and problem solving. Presentation skills and ability to communicate both orally and in writing.
