Role brief: Project Managers are responsible to make sure the scope and direction of each project is on schedule, and are in charge of a team to get the job done.The PM delivers to and requires from the team prompt and professional communication. The PM facilitates guidance and training to the benefit of the project. PM to gain an understanding of the volunteer’s motivations, skills and objectives and provide opportunity when possible. The PM develops a strategy to on-board new volunteers into the team.

The PM ensure the team volunteers are assigned appropriate tasks according to their skills, time availability and project timeline and promptly follow up each assignment to completion.
The PM sets realistic milestones and deadlines, tie up and automate interdependent assignments, and keep all of the teamâs volunteers focused on deliverables using Trello for time & resource tracking and Google Apps for document collaboration and Slack for teamâs communication.

Responsibilities for Scrum Master
Lead the scrum team in using Agile methodology and scrum practices in quick paced environment
Helping the product owner and development team to achieve customer satisfaction
Lead the scrum and development teams in self-organization
Remove impediments and coach the scrum team on removing impediments
Help the scrum and development teams to identify and fill in blanks in the Agile framework
Building trusting and safe environment to help resolve conflicts and issues that occur
Assist with internal and external communication, improve transparency and radiate information
Support and education to the product owner
Qualifications for Scrum Master
Prior experience on a distributed scrum team delivering non-IT environment
Ability to analyze and think quickly and to resolve conflict
Knowledgeable in techniques to fill in gaps in the scrum
Ability to determine what is scrum and what is not
Experience with successful Agile techniques
Ability to work with and lead a team
Strong communication, interpersonal and mentoring skills
Ability to adapt to a changing environment
Self-motivation and ability to stay focused in the middle of distraction
