JOB OVERVIEW: The Project Manager is responsible for managing projects through all phases of the project life cycle for the Department of Corrections by implementing project plans and ensuring execution of project activities and tasks to produce project deliverables. They are responsible for refining project requirements, assumptions and constraints through communication with stakeholders. The Project Manager is also responsible for managing project completion and ensure sign-off on deliverables by all responsible parties and finalization of all paperwork.
Qualifications:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, business, or a related field. Two years job-related experience leading projects through all phases of a project life cycle, including system design, system implementation and process re-engineering. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred. Experience with MS Project or other project management tools is preferred.
Preference may be given to candidates with experience relating to Healthcare and/or Clinical Services.
