Project Manager

The Hughes Operations team is looking for a self-motivated Project Manager with expertise in mapping business processes/flows, software integration, technical troubleshooting support and leading cross functional teams.

The ideal candidate will have a mix of technical and business skills.

Projects will range from facilitating and coordinating information flow between teams to accomplish goals specific to the many disciplines. (Network Security project planning, Software delivery through testing into production, and identification of business process gaps along with suggested resolutions to streamline business functions)

Responsibilities:

• Quickly identify paths to solutions
• Broker agreements to complex business problems
• Launch/roll out new software, products and services
• Coordinate the Upgrade/update back office business systems and customer facing applications, websites and account management tools etc. Manage a team within a matrix organization

Basic Requirements:

• Bachelors degree
• 3+ years of related experience
• 3+ years managing programs

Preferred Qualifications:

• Six Sigma or similar methodology a plus
• BS background combining business and engineering is preferred
• Must be highly organized, hands on, energetic and have the ability to focus on detail or see the big picture depending on the situation.
