Position Summary
The Project Manager has overall responsibility for the leadership and management of projects as assigned.
Depending upon experience and knowledge, the Project Manager will manage projects that may be simple and residing in one business line or site, or complex and reside within multiple business lines or may cross multiple Catalent sites.
May take on Global Project Management (PM) multi-site or lead PM role for clients.
Will support the mentoring and training of other PMs in the group and Project Coordinators as needed, and may train other functions in PM process and activities
May support or lead PM teams, cross site teams or functional teams in Department, Site or Global PM projects, activities and initiatives.
The Role
The Project Manager will promote continuous improvement in all aspects of the job: Coordination with sales, operations, client services, and QA to ensure the highest level of client service.
- Will manage projects that may reside within single or multiple business lines or sites as assigned.
- Act as single point of contact for the client and facilitate responses to Customer questions and observations.
- Preparation and management of a Project Plan to meet required milestones.
- Lead meetings with client and internal teams to facilitate project completion.
- Deliver the project within agreed upon timeline and budget.
- Will be the client advocate
- will take on additional assignments for the department, group or site with support.
- Will be able to speak to all Catalent business services and will promote Catalent at client meetings and conferences.
- Will be proficient in technical aspects of PM related software used by site.
The Candidate
Education or Equivalent: Science Degree and/or apprenticeship OR
Experience: 1 – 6+ years of equivalent work experience preferred.
Knowledge/Skills Requirements:
Working knowledge of Project Management.
- Excellent client facing skills – desire to meet and exceed client expectations.
- Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.
- Proven communication skills – written and verbal.
- Will have ability to work in a multi-national team with language requirements depending on work location. Need to be fluent in English (speaking, reading and writing).
