Overview :
- Reporting to the Group President, Envestnet PMC, The Managing Director, Head of Asset Manager Network is responsible for all asset managers and asset management product on the platform, as well as the economic model between Envestnet and the asset managers distributing through its platform, and the various revenue lines associated with such. This position leads a team of relationship managers and coordinators responsible for maintaining and optimizing relationships with asset managers across Envestnet’s suite of services. The successful candidate must have impeccable judgment and be able to weigh operational/compliance/legal risk appropriately. This position will chair Envestnet’s managed product acceptance committee, facilitate Envestnet’s strategic engagement with asset managers and publicly advocate industry trends and best practices.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic vision and leadership to the RM team while aligning the teams goals with that of the company
- Grow and develop revenue lines associated with asset managers
- Work across the various business lines of the company to ensure alignment of communication and goals
- Develop meaningful relationships with the executives of asset manager partners
- Represent Envestnet in speaking engagements
Minimum Requirements
- 10-15 years industry experience in sales or client facing management role.
- Proven leadership and management experience with direct and indirect resources in various locations
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, a collaborative style, and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- Motivated self-starter, with an ability to work independently and succeed in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Ability to work comfortably and positively with ambiguity
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required
Preferred Requirements
- Advanced degree or industry specific training is a plus (CFA, CIMA, etc.)
