Market President II
Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
General Summary:
Responsible for the oversight of Metro or Community Banking-related activities within a specified geographic region, including sales and service leadership, expense and credit control management, community involvement, and meeting financial and compliance standards. This position has direct responsibility for employment decisions.
This position requires the associate to drive on behalf of the Bank and the associate must adhere to Bank’s Motor Vehicle Guidelines.
In compliance with the S.A.F.E. Act, registration in the NMLS Registry is required.
All associates at Capital City Bank have access to confidential client information, and must practice discretion at all times.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Identifies and defines opportunities for growth and development. Develops strategic plans to achieve these objectives, in conjunction with corporate goals and plans.
Assists in establishing sales goals. Communicates these to associates in the market and regularly assesses performance against set goals. Works with Sales Leadership on sales goals and initiatives; delivers goals and initiatives to the production teams.
Sets and utilizes system controls to track assets, deposits and fee income. Monitors size and performance of loan portfolio, and meets compliance and record keeping standards; assesses performance and takes appropriate action to ensure all goals and standards are met.
Manages community bankers and/or business bankers and lending assistant; conducts quarterly reviews.
Manages a loan portfolio.
Monitors and enforces lending policies, consistent with those established by the Bank.
Makes salary and incentive recommendations of direct reports.
Leads the local production team on meeting or exceeding production and growth goals (including but not limited to Top Of House goals), as well as supporting and referring to business partners.
Develops and manages a Community Board in order to assist in the achievement of Metro or Community Banking goals.
Manages all Calling Efforts in the Market.
Is the face of Capital City Bank in the community.
Drives the revenue market production incentive plan and is a conduit between Revenue and Delivery.

- Attends monthly Senior Management meetings;
- Contributes at annual strategic planning meetings;
- Works with Lenders/Presidents on loan workouts;
- Makes revenue/cost cutting proposals to both Revenue and Delivery;
- Works with presidents regarding staffing including right sizing, and succession planning;
- Works with presidents on office structure, relocates, and selling excess properties;
- Acts as a conduit of communication from Senior Management to the local markets;
- Works with Senior Management on additional office/market locations – including demographic data collection, recruitment and office locations;
- Makes quarterly as well as annual performance evaluations. Counsels presidents on performance evaluations of their direct reports;
- Makes at least two visits annually to each market;
- Assist Sales Management and Metro Banking Exec in organizing the structuring of community President’s meetings; and
- Serves as surrogate community President until an opening is filled.

The following KSAs are usually acquired through college education with emphasis in business-related courses and 5 years related experience:
- Superior credit, analytical, communication and managerial skills.
- Extensive and proven track record in bank administration, lending, and operating procedures.
- Excellent ability to define problems, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Extensive familiarity with bank products, policies and procedures.
- High degree of personal integrity and proven leadership.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Business Administration, Finance, or related field from an accredited college or university, required. Relevant banking experience may substitute for the educational requirement.

- Driving on behalf of the bank, as required by the position.
- In the rare instance of a major or extensive natural disaster, epidemic or pandemic occurrence, or other disruption within our footprint, it may be necessary for associates to relocate or telecommute before, during or after, to ensure business continuity.
