Responsibilities
- Raise profile and create awareness of Dstillery’s unique proposition among target buyers through an effective mix of marketing communications strategies, messaging and tactics
- Deliver a growing volume of sales qualified leads using effective outbound marketing tactics and Account Based Marketing strategies that effectively turn leads into revenue
- Establish clear thought leadership among our core customer/influencer populations around our core expertise; Create materials that our audience consumes as measured by “Engagement Metric”.
- Expand website to serve as the definitive external word on Dstillery’s products, strategies, customers and company.
- Maintain company messaging platform that serves as the up-to-date definitive internal reference on who we are, what we offer, who we speak with, how we describe our products/company and terminology.
- Create a strong and simple brand identity described in an appropriate reference document. Ensure that all external materials are faithful to the brand identity.
- Provide fast-turn-around internal service for development of new or customized presentations to be used for outside audiences.
- Marketing leader: Be strategic and well-informed about the industry, customers, our company and products (requires regular contact with outside groups) such that you are the go-to person for resolution of questions about positioning, messaging, marketing strategy and tactics. Lead and drive versus coordinate.
- Build a team of internal functional marketing managers sufficient to execute on the marketing mission and who are go-to experts for their respective domains.
- Oversee the strategic marketing vision and define both short- and long-term marketing objectives for Dstillery.
- Monitor competition and market trends to align Dstillery’s strategy.
- Build a marketing-driven culture. Work on identifying its competitive strategy and advantage.
- Create KPI’s/Metrics that align to sales goals and company growth
- Develop the system of gathering and presenting to all internal stakeholders all relevant market and competition data: market sizes, dynamics, trends, competitors, products etc.
- Develop and execute targeted campaigns including brand development and lead generation
- Strategize, build, and drive go-to-market initiatives and campaigns.
- Own all content development for all marketing and sales initiatives, including but not limited to the following: website content, blogs, articles, whitepapers, communications content, collateral content, etc.
- Build industry alliances and partnerships for successful promotion of brand and opportunity development;
- Support sales and account management teams in their efforts to win new accounts and expand in existing ones.
- Provide content to sales playbook that provides specific content to each stage in Dstillery’s sales process
- Oversee our corporate events from start to finish according to requirements, target audience, and objectives, managing venues, logistics, operations, entertainment, and communications
Basic qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field required. MBA a plus.
- 15+ years experience including a proven successful past experience in a similar assignment marketing to advertisers and/or agencies.
Additional qualifications
- Ability to construct and internally sell a shrewd, fact-based GTM strategy to success with proactive course corrections based on regular direct contact with the market
- Experience establishing an independently paced marketing agenda crafted to build long-term revenue growth as a first principle
- Be a methodical, quantitative, systematic marketer with extensive experience in designing and executing complex marketing funnels
- Extensive experience managing the bidirectional interfaces between marketing and sales
- Must be a developer of great talent
- Strong communication skills
- Strong knowledge of B2B adtech/martech industry
- Data-driven leadership skills with multi-layered understanding of business economics and drivers.
- Superior organizational skills. Relentless in the execution of marketing plans and achieving the goals.
