• Full-Time, Monday – Friday

• Leads through committee, consultation, and formal authority to develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for Analytics & Performance Improvement across the health-system. Engages in projects to develop structural capability as well solving specific business problems.
• Promotes the use of data and proprietary algorithms/analytics as a source of intrinsic competitive advantage by directly impacting efficiency/growth and accretive to the health-system’s brand through positioning the health system as a national leader in the application of Analytics.
• Assesses, recruits, and mentor team members with high potential in Data Science and Analytics to create a deep bench of expertise within the these functions and develop baseline competence among health system leaders.
• Innovates, adopts, and adapts service offerings, budget, staffing, policies, and talent development for Data Science and Analytics functions throughout the health-system based on research of cross-industry best practices, industry trends, and forecasting.
• Develops, plans, and executes a full-stack data strategy in partnership with Information Technology (IT) to improve the accuracy, reliability, timeliness, and relevance of analytics for clinical operations.
• Provides direct supervision to Directors and other leaders for company-wide Data Science and Analytics functions and the full organizational structure for these areas which include Data Scientists, Data Engineers, Business Analysts, and Clinical Analysts. Provides indirect supervision and mentoring to other matrix reporting relationships as necessary.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree: MBA, Data Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Nursing, or other relevant field and five to seven years relevant experience in healthcare environment, OR
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Nursing, or other relevant field and seven years’ experience in analytics
• 5 years’ progressive leadership experience
• 7+ years’ experience required with technical aspects of Analytics, Business Intelligence and/or Data Warehousing
• Expert-level knowledge and of Analytics, A.I., Machine Learning, digital automation, and emerging related technologies. Creative and strategic application of decision methodologies into clinical and business workflow.
