Working under the general direction of the Associate Director of Undergraduate Programs, and in close collaboration with the Director of Administration and the Dean, the Director of Student Affairs performs the following functions:

Oversee all operations and functions for the Public Health Undergraduate Student Affairs Office including management of all administrative services, long-range planning, and establishing goals and policies to meet UC and UCI growth trends and targets including population demographics; fiscal constraints; and legislative, System-wide and UCI rules and regulations. Coordinate a broad range of student initiatives in the school.

Identify and analyze all issues of significance to undergraduate education at UCI that have relevance to students, programs, faculty, and staff in the Program in Public Health. Analyze, design, develop and advise the Dean and Associate Director on curricular programs and changes both in and outside the Program.

Direct the budget activities for the office, including: review, analysis, and making decisions on budget requests, and developing sound fiscal practices, plans, and strategies to deploy financial resources.

Direct joint activities between the Division of Career Pathways and the Public Health Undergraduate Student Affairs Office.

Salary: Hourly $4,550.00 – $6,941.67
