The Director Operations @ Honeywell Intelligrated (www.intelligrated.com) leads a large organization and has overall responsibility for all Manufacturing Operations, Advanced manufacturing Engineering and Sourcing. The position exists to ensure that products are produced safely, shipped to customers on time, exceed quality standards and are produced at the lowest sustainable cost. This is accomplished through ownership of corporate objectives such as adherence to the Honeywell Operating System (HOS) principles, meeting forecasts, production plans, productivity goals, and other key performance indicators while maintaining good employee relations. The Director Operations is a strategic business role and must communicate effectively to all levels of the company.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Delivering world class manufacturing facilities and performance
- Analyzing production reports and maintaining and publishing KPIâs and ensuring targets are met
- Real time Monitoring of performance to plan and response to issues and risks.
- Leading the development of long and short-range planning, budget development, programs and objectives for manufacturing operations and sourcing with guidance from the corporate objectives.
- Selecting, Training and Evaluating Staff
- Developing talent and being constantly vigilant for high achievers
- Ensuring compliance with applicable governmental regulations and consulting with HR as appropriate
- Encouraging, Supporting and participating in Continuous Improvement activities. Recommending and implementing changes to improve performance in Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and
- Inventory, and ensuring approved improvements are implemented
- Attending safety reviews and training with Supervisors and other team members. Rigorously ensuring safety policies and guidelines are followed by all team members
- Developing capital equipment justifications for machine tools and process technology to improve productivity, quality, cost and cycle times
- Answering daily inquiries and assists in solving shop floor problems
- Performing miscellaneous duties and implementing projects as assigned

YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelorâs Degree in Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing Operations Management
- 10+ years of Manufacturing Management and cross-functional experience which includes Fabrication and Assembly, Materials Management, Quality and Process Improvements.
- Demonstrated ability to Manage Change, build trust and influence and control outcomes
- Working knowledge of Product Development and New Product Introductions
- Experience and training in Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing techniques
- Microsoft Office Suite, ERP Systems (Oracle preferred)
