Work Hours/Shift:
  • Full-Time, Monday – Friday
You Will Be Responsible For:

  • Responsible for the coordination, development, implementation and maintenance of the Hospital Medicine program in collaboration with each region/hospital: Senior Leadership and Physician Leadership. This includes the optimization to achieve identified success metrics.
  • Responsible for clinical program development for each segment of the Hospital Medicine program this includes standardization of Multidisciplinary Rounds.
  • Responsible for effectively collaborating and communicating with AH region/hospital leaders to ensure support is provided for local implementation and evaluation of program
  • Responsible for assessing areas of opportunity within each market and bringing forth recommendations for improvement.
  • Supports communications, coaching, mentoring, managing and leadership of Hospital Medicine partners, including executive leadership.

Qualifications


What You Will Need:

  • Master’s Degree in Healthcare, Business or Engineering
  • 5+ years healthcare clinical experience, strong clinical background required
  • 3+ Process Improvement experience
  • 3+ Leadership experience
  • 2+ years Analytics experience
  • Licensed RN if nursing degree
  • Methodically analyzes and evaluates business problems by defining the challenges, identifying alternatives and making timely decisions.
  • Strong consultant skillset, with ability to influence all levels in the organization.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and work well with staff at all levels of the organization.
  • In-depth knowledge of clinical and non-clinical hospital operations and continuum of care quality standards and regulations.

Job Summary:

The Hospital Medicine Program Director is responsible for the coordination, development, implementation and evaluation of Hospital Medicine program across AH under the direction of the Executive Director of Clinical Operations and the Associate Chief Clinical Officer/CMO. The Hospital Medicine Program Director is expected to lead the program to successful achievement of defined goals. Collaborates with stakeholders to develop and deploy Hospital Medicine initiative. Is responsible for the development and deployment of standard education tools and programs that enables success across all AH regions/hospitals. The position must execute the short-term and long-term goals in a manner that is consistent with the mission, vision and values of the System and across the continuum.
