The Director of Finance is responsible for leading the North America Services Finance Area. This role provides strategic direction and oversight of front-end revenue cycle processes and outcomes for all professional, technical and managed services offerings and E-Commerce transactions. This position works closely with cross-functional leaders to formulate go-to-market strategies and align Finance Operations with processes, procedures and policies to support client billing and revenue recognition. The Director of Finance sets the vision and priorities for the team including resource planning, productivity measurement and budget attainment.
The Services Finance team is comprised of three groups:
- The Summary Billing team provides customized and aggregated billing services to enhance the client experience and optimize opportunity for efficient payment.
- The Service billing team drives the service contract process from the point of signature through set-up, billing, and revenue recognition within the SAP contract module.
- The E-Commerce/Cloud team supports the billing and reconciliation process of the E-Commerce/Cloud solutions within the developing E-Commerce platform.
What you’ll do:
This role requires a strong leader who can effectively navigate all levels of the organization. It is a highly visible role as the teams are responsible for managing the billing process for our clients as well as ensure the process meets US GAAP standards with solid audit controls for revenue recognition. - Manage all aspects of the Service Statement of Work process from point of signature, billing and revenue recognition validation
- Collaborate with Finance Executive leadership and Service/E-Commerce leadership to ensure operational alignment
- Establish team objectives, key metrics and identify operational trending to assist with volume and productivity management
- Report, analyze and identify trends in business metrics and develop action plans to drive improvements focused on increasing operational efficiency
- Work cross-functionally with Global Transformation, Solution areas, Sales, IT, Finance, Marketing and VMO (vendor-managed operations) to continually improve operational efficiencies, processes and performance
- Escalate and resolve client billing issues quickly
- Manage productivity metrics within the groups effectively
- Establish documented standard operating procedures as well as interdepartmental policies and procedures to bring the teams to a consistent level of performance
- Recruit, hire and develop management and extended US and international teams
- Provide guidance and training assistance to employees by understanding individual teammate’s professional goals, to help them achieve high levels of success

What we need:
Bachelor’s degree (B.S. or B.A.) from a four-year college or university; minimum 10 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Education in Information Technology, Business Administration, Finance or Management strongly preferred. Experience in the information technology industry required.
