Overview

KDVR Fox 31/KWGN Channel 2 in Denver is looking for a full-time newscast director.

Responsibilities

Ability to perform various duties including, directing shows using Overdrive automation system, floor directing, teleprompter, robotic camera system including post & commercial production Audio, Technical directing and knowledge of the NSI and Troll uplink systems or other duties as assigned by a supervisor This position may be required to work late nights, early mornings, weekends and/or holiday shifts.

Qualifications

Minimum of two years’ experience operating equipment in a medium/large television market is required.

Clear communication and problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a team environment a must. This position works closely with on-air talent, directors and field crews. A working knowledge of the following systems needed: Overdrive, Cambotics, Vinten, OPUS, TONS, Wincue Teleprompter, Wheatstone Audio Board and VIZRT graphic systems.
