Position Summary
The Digital Project Manager will lead medium to large sized cross functional projects, utilizing industry best practices and project management standards to deliver quality and consistent results. The ideal candidate will demonstrate experience successfully leading Digital projects in a matrix environment from initiation to realization. This role will have the opportunity to lead highly visible initiatives that directly impact customer experience and drive change across the entire organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivery of complex one or several projects with accountability from planning to minimum realization.
- Prepares and delivers regular, effective communications to ensure that leadership and program/project sponsors are adequately apprised of project statuses, successes, risks, and issues.
- Creation and management of integrated program / project plans, with responsibility for scheduling, forecasting of resources, financial management, and providing input and justification for costs and budget impact.
- Monitors program execution (timeline, budget, and resource utilization) against program plan and addressing impediments through resolution processes.
- Partners with Enterprise teams to effectivity deliver programs utilizing iterative and traditional methodologies to ensure alignment between the digital organization and IT execution teams.
- Maintains an understanding of leading-edge technologies and software delivery methodologies to influence the execution of the product roadmaps and support the vision for the future in the context of the competitive landscape.
Key Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required. MBA preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of eCommerce program/project management experience, preferably having led digital transformations in large enterprises with a retail component to his/her business in traditional and iterative delivery methodologies.
- In-depth understanding of risk management, tracking, and resolution process and approaches.
- Experience leading a remote team
- Knowledge of latest technology trends, possible suite of vendor/technology solutions/options is required.
