The Director is a digital team leader, assigned to one large strategic account. Primarily responsible for development of management and measurement frameworks to steer and monitor program progress and success. Acts as a digital media SME for internal stakeholders/client partners as well as key point of contact for cross-functional disciplines (SEM, SEO, Strategy, Creative, etc.).
Partnering closely with the client’s cross-functional teams, they will oversee everything from planning to implementation and close loop measurement of each digital campaign. They will drive awareness, trial, and repeat usage of the promoted products by effectively utilizing the right media channels across paid (e.g. display, video, social, radio) and owned (e.g. email, direct mail, site assets, social) channels to reach consumers and drive accountable business results.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and champion innovative, sophisticated media strategies and campaigns that deliver against the client’s goals and drive accountable business results. Oversee all aspects of campaign execution, optimization, and delivery of campaigns
- Key contributor and driver of all media execution process documents, platform usage playbooks, training programs, optimization best practices, etc.
- Development of management and measurement frameworks to steer and monitor program progress and success
- Provide strategic thought leadership to drive client goals
- Develop and nurture strong relationships with clients at all levels, handle and resolve issues and opportunities
- Consult with individual client teams as needed to ensure best practices are being used and to brainstorm new approaches to achieving client goals
- Articulate and strategically deliver consultative messaging – both written and verbal – to senior leaders
- Effectively lead multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously; trouble shoot and mitigate risks, as well as ensure effective communication around the plans

This position reports to the Sr. Director or VP of Media Services.
- 7-9+ years of experience within digital media agency function and/or digital media vendor/ad technology platform
- Demonstrated client management and consultative selling skills as well as the ability to interact at all levels of management, including the executive level, to advocate and influence in support of a vision and direction
- Proficiency within DSP Platforms (Doubleclick Bid Manager, The Trade Desk, MediaMath, Amazon AAP, etc.)
- Passion for technology, with extensive knowledge of the ad tech ecosystem – DSP, DMP, AMP, SSP
- Proficiency within Social Platforms (Facebook/Instagram Power Editor, Twitter)
- Proficient user of digital ads trafficking tools (DCM, Atlas, etc.)
- Proficient user of Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience in the retail sector is a bonus
- An entrepreneurial spirit, desire to “change the game”, a self-starter, and thinks outside of the box
- Ability to think on one’s feet and manage dynamic situations and environments
- Strong communication skills, verbal and written
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills, including an analytic and fact-based approach to problem-solving
- Works effectively in a fast-paced, energetic team environment
