Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collects and evaluates daily vehicle pre-operation check lists
- Assists PM is making daily project assignments by recommending allocation of resources to individual jobs
- Ensures teams are updating required control points in PSA
- Inspects all project documentation daily, and before handing off to PM at project completion
- Directly responsible for updating all notes in PSA
- Responsible for tracking equipment allocated to each job
- Project lead for water related losses 3 rooms or more
- Responsible for pre-air test inspection for any mold remediation >10sf
- Responsible for regularly inspection mitigation vehicles for cleanliness, organization, and stocking
- Responsible for daily determination of those projects requiring, or warranting direct on-site personal attention
- Conducts employee counseling and annual evaluations
- Responsible for execution of weekly collective training sessions in accordance with the VetCor Training Program Guidelines
- Coordinates for equipment repair through third party
- Assists in PM in executed of scheduled inventories
- Responsible for ensuring compliance with local and federal (OSHA) work place standards
- Responsible for submitting monthly expendable item inventory to AR/AP representative
Qualifications (minimum):
- IICRC: Journeyman WRT
- IICRC: Applied Structural Drying Technician (ASD)
- Ability to learn/operate various computer programs: MS Office, PSA, etc.
- Exceptional communication (written and oral)/customer service skills
- Able to coach, mentor, supervise, and discipline subordinates
- Maintenance of valid, unrestricted driving license
- Able to execute and manage basic office administrative functions
Working Conditions:
Deputy Project Managers are required to be available on a 24/7 basis in accordance with a rotational schedule with their Project Manger. Working hours for a Deputy Project Manager can be unpredictable in this industry, so flexibility and the ability to adapt to rapidly changing situations is key. In some instances a project may require working in elevated levels of Personnel Protective Equipment.
Physical Requirements:
Water damage restoration can be a physically demanding job where the incumbent is required to stand for extended periods of time, lift heavy objects on a regular basis, and do repetitive tasks with few breaks. Often the work requires frequent bending, working while on the knees, confined spaces, and working from a ladder.
