Responsibilities

Responsible for the delivery of small to medium scope business projects of moderate complexity. Manage department/business projects within the company’s project delivery framework. Accountable for business project communications, risk assessment and contingency planning and escalation of critical issues to project sponsor/owner, etc.
Define the overall objectives and key deliverables for the business project; identifies and tracks key measures of success. Provide regular status reporting on plan progress, as defined by company standards. Some of these activities may be performed under general guidance/direction.
Provide leadership to business project resources in a manner that ensures timely delivery on commitments/tasks in support of broader business project deliverables. Align resources (may be cross-organizationally) to ensure successful delivery of the project. Identify project resource requirements and works with project plan sponsors to ensure adequately skilled resources are available to deliver on project commitments.
Work effectively with business partners, vendors, technology and project management staff to develop the project agenda and ensure agreement/adoption of project objectives/deliverables by affected constituencies. Provide proactive project communication to project owner. Works to identify cross-organizational interdependencies and ensures appropriate integration to project plan.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant experience
5-7 years of relevant experience
Demonstrated experience in leading small- to medium-scale projects to successful completion and implementation
Ability to provide project clarity, develop an approach and execute the plan
Experienced at building relationships and influencing others at varying levels of the organization
Utilizes solid oral/written communication at all levels
Demonstrated experience in innovative thinking and problem solving
Utilizes strong organizational skills to ensure project success
Demonstrated experience in issue and risk management. Escalates appropriately.
