Builds and manages campaign plans to capture new business, organizes the capture team, and wins competitions.
Participates in the development and implementation of new products and services, spiral developments, and new business pursuits.
Oversees development and execution of keep sold plans for ongoing programs.
Functions as a liaison between assigned customers and company leadership.
Oversees the implementation of CPS-009: Capturing New Business, and other related Business Development policies and procedures.
Manages the new business financial resources necessary to develop technologies and products in alignment with customer needs, and propose LM solutions to customer Request for Proposals or Broad Area Announcements.
Communicates frequently with government customers at general officer and SES levels. Communicates frequently with LOB VP and LOB Strategy and S&BD VP.
Basic Qualifications:
- Proven and current knowledge of DoD S&T environment and acquisition processes.
- Current understanding of LM capture process, business strategy and business development processes.
- Experience in technology development and transition
- Ability to present in front of senior level management,
Ability to quickly grasp technology concepts and translate their value to customers. Flexibility to quickly adapt to changing business environment and priorities. Must have the ability to utilize political skills to cope with conflict. This includes the ability to work across organizational boundaries and jurisdictions; leading customer meetings and cross-discipline teams in development of customer solutions; Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to craft presentations for senior management and customers.
- Must have an active secret clearance.
This position will require travel.
