RXR is currently looking for a VP, Project Cost Management
SUMMARY:
Coordinate with management in developing overall budget for assigned projects.
PRINCIPLE RESPONSBILITIES:
(1) Manage project budget
(2) Institute process, control and discipline to monitor project cost budget
(3) Enforce contract execution
(4) Monitor cost trends, review change orders and commitment
(5) Maintain accurate job cost reports including budget, commitment and incurred costs
(6) Streamline revenue billing and cost processing steps
(7) Monitor collection and payable progress
(8) Serve as liaison to Project Management Team
(9) Explore and recommend technology to integrate processes and functions
IDEAL EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION:
- Bachelors degree
- A minimum of 7+ years of experience as a Project Cost Controller or equivalent
- Strong understanding of construction terminology.
- Attention to detail and grammar in written work, attention to detail in all other areas of responsibility.
- Must be intelligent, highly organized, motivated, self-starter with an aptitude for learning.
- Must demonstrate networking ability and maintain a can do attitude with respect to dealings with municipalities and tenants.
- Must be a diligent and focused individual who enjoys work.
- Ability to perform multiple tasks, demonstrate adaptability by often changing assignments on short notice.
- Ability and desire to quickly learn new job-related information.
- Proactive and communicative.
- Display professional appearance and conduct.

- Must be creative and should have the esthetic capability to visualize space and develop concepts for marketing, presentation and cost analysis.
