Position Summary:
As a key member of the Ladder Now Leadership Team, the Vice President of Sales will grow market share as well as hire and lead a team of three Regional Vice President (RVP) of Sales with plans to expand this team significantly as we grow the markets and industries we serve.

The ideal candidate has proven experience in sales leadership including sales process implementation, coaching / mentoring, and performance management. In addition, the ideal candidate can demonstrate experience and success across multiple services related industries.

This role is based in Louisville, Kentucky or in Atlanta, Georgia. Other possible locations could include Cincinnati, Ohio; Indianapolis, Indiana; or Nashville, Tennessee for the right candidate.

Relocation assistance may also be available to the right candidate.

Essential Functions and Duties:

  • Plan and manage sales resources, including all levels of account executives, territory managers, and inside selling teams

  • Define and implement formalized sales process and account management disciplines across the organization
  • Develop, track, and report meaningful business metrics; hold others accountable to those metrics
  • Partner cross functionally to achieve business goals
  • Lead and coach existing sales staff; hold regular team meetings with direct reports to ensure accuracy and quality of all deliverables
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position has direct supervisory responsibilities for various sales professionals and future sales team leaders.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Proven ability to drive sale process excellence and maximize the sales and account management opportunities to grow market share

  • Ability to pass work eligibility requirements
  • Ability to work with and support others in a positive way
  • Ability and willingness to travel between 40%-60% of the time

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Construction Management, or a related field; advanced degree, such as an MBA, is preferred
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in sale management across multiple service industries with proven success
  • Valid driver’s license required

Work Environment:
Mix of professional office environment, on the road traveling, and outdoors

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to travel (driving or flying) frequently to and from Ladder Now offices, customer and/or partner sites
  • Must be able to lift files, open filing cabinets, and bend or stand on a stool as necessary
  • Must be able to routinely use standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines

Position Type and Hours:

  • Full-Time
  • Monday through Friday from 8:00 – 5:00 p.m. plus occasional weekends and evenings as needed

Travel:

  • 40-60% of travel time expected for this position
