Michael Kors is looking for a Vice President, E-Commerce to lead the creation and execution of the brand’s digital transformation and engage and excite our customers. This role will own the ecommerce P&L and will define our digital customer experience site merchandising, user experience, strategy and product road map. We are looking for someone with a passion for retail and the ability to drive sales in a fast-paced environment. This position will be a part of Michael Kors’ e-commerce team and present a great opportunity to develop and grow multi-channel sales on a global level.


Responsibilities:

  • Drive the business and own and optimize the P&L.
  • Develop cutting edge digital roadmaps and team to execute a best-in-class consumer experience across all digital commerce touch points; .com, mobile and app.
  • Lead site merchandising, site production, product and operations.
  • Align technology strategy with marketing and digital initiatives to grow online and mobile capabilities.
  • Curate and manage the pipeline of innovative ideas, owning the operational rhythm to expose concepts to the senior leadership team.
  • Monitor performance and partner with buying team to develop financial strategies to achieve plans both in-season & pre-season
  • Work with cross functional, cross channel teams to drive prioritized initiatives from strategy creation through proof of concept phases. Participate in pilot, rollouts and implementations on an as needed basis.
  • Drive development across multiple teams, business units and phases, aligning business opportunities with the appropriate, cost-effective investment of financial resources in IT systems and resources, including staffing, sourcing, purchasing, and in-house and outsourced development.
  • Works closely with and manages strategic vendor partner relationships.
  • Create a dynamic, high-performance culture and recruit, retain and grow talent.
  • Ensure brand consistency and presence on all digital products from planning to design/build/test to successful launch.
  • Develop superior user-focused digital products to drive business growth.
  • Understand and map the current state of business processes supporting the customer life cycle.
  • Build and develop product design and leadership talent that has the business acumen and technical capability to deliver world class products, differentiated customer experiences, strategic partnerships, and sustainable ecosystems.
  • Provide leadership through setting the strategy, establishing outcome-driven frameworks, aligning priorities and managing operating mechanisms that drive a highly effective and efficient process design and development organization.
  • Continuously create and evolve the go-to-market plans, development of cross-functional partnerships to create a rigorous focus on process efficiency, business effectiveness, and product innovation.


Requirements:

  • 15+ years’ experience in direct or e-commerce environment
  • Experience running product teams, preferably React/ATC architecture
  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree
  • Entrepreneurial, out-of-the-box thinker who is intellectually curious with a strong work ethic.
  • Experience managing UX/Digital Creative functions
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate complicated concepts and recommended courses of action to engage diverse audiences and influence senior executives.
  • Ability to think strategically, drive for results, build a high performance organization, continuously drive innovation and inspire the organization to achieve and exceed its objectives
  • Deep understanding of consumer audience segments.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to complete projects on time
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to translate analytic data into strategic ideas
  • Must be able to multi-task, be flexible and perform in a fast-paced environment
