Job Description:
Senior Segment Manufacturing Operations Leader for L3Harris Integrated Mission Systems Segment. Responsible for leading manufacturing and manufacturing engineering with over3,000 employees in 45+ locations domestic and international. Develop short term plans and long term strategies that drive a one operations organization vision to ensure perfect delivery, quality and safety, while achieving additional operations and financial objectives.Position reports directly to the Segment Vice President of Operations.
Key Accountabilities:
- Meet segment manufacturing objectives for cost, quality and delivery of material and services
- Achieve an injury free work place through execution of EHS strategies
- Create manufacturing strategies to meet segment Annual Operating and Strategic Growth plans
- Achieve critical manufacturing productivity goals by developing and deploying best lean manufacturing practices.
- Develop and executive manufacturing technology roadmaps
- Design for manufacturability partnering with Engineering in the new product development process
- Achieve FAR/DFAR compliant processes
- Develop a world class operations organization through various staffing, training and talent management initiatives
- Deliver and sustain positive measurable results

Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
- BS Degree (technical degree preferred, i.e. Engineering)
- MS Degree preferred, MBA a plus
- Lean expert certified
- Active Secret Clearance a plus
- 10+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience
- Knowledge of manufacturing strategies in production and development environments
- Strong verbal, written and presentation skills
- Extensive knowledge leading and executing structured lean manufacturing systems
- Demonstrated experience developing manufacturing technology roadmaps
