About Intuit’s Transformation and Business Operations Team:
Intuit’s Transformation and Business Operations Team is a new organization in the Office of the President that has the mandate to reinvent the way Intuit does business. We identify and realize the highest impact opportunities that increase efficiency or effectiveness across all of Intuit’s business groups and functions. The improvements we drive as a team will fuel the investment in Intuit’s growth priorities. Among other things, the team is responsible for an Intuit-wide reinvention program currently consists of seven parallel workstreams and 40+ initiatives that touch every aspect of Intuit’s structure, processes and business model. The role has CEO Staff visibility allowing you to forge relationships with senior leaders from every group in the company. It is the perfect platform to learn about virtually every aspect of Intuit’s businesses and a great foundation for a high-impact career
The Senior Manager, Intuit Transformation and Business Operations will be part of a small group of leaders reporting to the Chief Transformation Officer, who is a member of the CEO staff. Senior Managers team up directly with business stakeholders and executives who are responsible for the implementation of one or more initiatives within the context of Intuit’s company-wide reinvention efforts to jointly problem solve, provide focused analytical support and ensure execution is planned and tracked rigorously.
Responsibilities
Specific responsibilities include:
Problem solving and analytics: Collaborate with initiative leaders to help recommend creative and innovative solutions with corresponding action plans for the business problems they are responsible for. Provide focused quantitative or qualitative analytical and research support for business initiatives and help build a compelling fact base.
Results delivery: Proactively identify roadblocks and suggest alternatives in the execution of business initiatives. Articulate actionable recommendations to drive business impact.
Influence and change leadership: Actively participate in discussions with senior business leaders making clear arguments that inform decision-making. Develop concise and compelling written communications that make the case for the change we seek to make.
Capability building: Ensure knowledge transfer to the teams that will own the business process or function in steady state.
Process management: Develop clear work plans for individual business opportunities. Suggest relevant success metrics and targets. Manage team operating mechanisms.
Qualifications
We are looking for an individual who can establish rapport, credibility, trust, and respect throughout the organization, and is viewed as a team player. As the team is viewed as a source of future business leaders within Intuit, the individual must have exceptional leadership skills and potential.
To be successful in this role, the candidate must have the following:
- Strong academic record required; MBA or equivalent from a nationally recognized institution preferred
- 2+ years of work experience in roles that were driving significant change and impact across an organization. Examples include experience in a top tier consulting firm working on large-scale transformation programs, being part of a strategy or business operations team in a technology company, helping improve efficiency or effectiveness in a business function of a technology company.
- Ability to both lead and support is important. Individual should be willing to “go the extra mile for the internal client and his/her team
- Strong process and project management skills
- Passion for excellence and the desire to have a significant impact on the business
- Strong communications (written/verbal), presentation and facilitation skills
- Well-rounded inter-personal skill set with the capacity to build strong senior relationships
- Highly self-motivated and willing to proactively take on issues within project teams and the company at large
- Excellent quantitative analytical skills, creativity in problem solving, and a keen business sense
