Position Summary…

Drives the execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs; developing and communicating business plans and priorities; removing barriers and obstacles that impact performance; providing resources; identifying performance standards; measuring progress and adjusting performance accordingly; developing contingency plans; and demonstrating adaptability and supporting continuous learning. Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates by selecting and training; mentoring; assigning duties; building a team-based work environment; establishing performance expectations and conducting regular performance evaluations; providing recognition and rewards; coaching for success and improvement; and ensuring diversity awareness. Promotes and supports company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by training and providing direction to others in their use and application; ensuring compliance with them; and utilizing and supporting the Open Door Policy. Ensures business needs are being met by evaluating the ongoing effectiveness of current plans, programs, and initiatives; consulting with business partners, managers, co-workers, or other key stakeholders; soliciting, evaluating, and applying suggestions for improving efficiency and cost-effectiveness; and participating in and supporting community outreach events.


What you’ll do…

  • Develops and manages tools in the Walmart Mobile App that reduces customer friction in the stores through an integrated digital experience. Identifies systems and process needs to meet future global needs and drive strategy development by working with global business segments to understand their unique system challenges ; reviewing gap analysis of current capabilities and identifying resources needed to close gaps; directing research on industry to identify best practices and opportunities to enhance or develop new systems; reviewing proposals developed by teams to achieve business objectives ; collaborating with cross-functional partners to understand implications of system and process changes; and collaborating with senior leaders to communicate need for change and obtain requirements needed to drive change.
  • Partners with Product, Engineering, Design and Business in the development and maintenance of customer tools by identifying business needs and goals ; understanding functionality and limitations of multiple systems ; reviewing, modifying, and approving recommended solutions; defining product requirements and legal and compliance standards ; determining global governance needed for systems and process changes; and collaborating with all partners to ensure alignment through the project lifecycle.
  • Directs portfolio for assigned areas in development of projects by identifying business priorities, process and systems needs ; building business cases and justifications for change; setting project milestones and ensuring processes are followed; prioritizing system and business projects based on return-on-investment or critical business needs related to compliance ; developing strategies to leverage industry leading technologies and business processes; anticipating and mitigating program level risks ; revising strategy to meet changing business demands and risk exposure; overseeing progress to ensure projects meet financial plans; and overseeing the development of executive communication materials and presentations to communicate progress and outcomes.
  • Manages financial, budgeting, or operational activities for related services and account platforms by setting plans to achieve annual operating performance objectives for the business; evaluating financial viability of ongoing initiatives and gaining approval for resources on initiatives and activities; and managing vendor relationships.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Engineering, or related field and 3 years’ experience in consumer services industry, project management, product management, process improvement, retail operations, or related area OR 5 years’ experience in consumer services industry, project management, product management, process improvement, retail operations, or related area.
