Overview
The role of the Lead Technology Manager/Sr. Engineer focuses on managerial activities related to and in support of technology projects and deliverables, you will lead the definition of the Target State Architecture for a specific business unit or infrastructure layer. You will ensure adherence to rules and defined roadmaps, provide horizontal oversight architectural and technical governance, and be responsible for longevity, scalability and resiliency of technical solutions delivered to the customers. You will be tasked with the assignment of technical resources to projects/deliverables, management of technology solution financials, development of staff and adhering to formal performance management processes, ensuring timelines and quality of deliverables across a portfolio of technology initiatives.

Your Role
What You’ll Do:
- Take responsibility for understanding client requirements, collecting data, delivering analysis and problem resolution. Identify evaluate and recommend options, implementing if required
- Provide advice and guidance on security strategies to manage identified risks and ensure adoption and adherence to standards. Obtain and act on vulnerability information and conduct security risk assessments, business impact analysis and accreditation on complex information systems. Investigate major breaches of security, and recommend appropriate control improvements. Contributes to development of information security policy, standards and guidelines
- Work iteratively with stakeholders, to identify potential benefits and available options for consideration, and in defining acceptance tests
- Maintain knowledge of specific business areas and provide advice regarding their application
How You’ll Lead:
- Implement stakeholder engagement/communications plans, including, for example; handling of complaints; problems and issues; managing resolutions; corrective actions and lessons learned; collection and dissemination of relevant information. Uses feedback from customers and stakeholders to help measure effectiveness of stakeholder management. Helps develop and enhance customer and stakeholder relationships
Skills You’ll Need:
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment with competing and alternating priorities with a constant focus on delivery
- Ability to manage and coach cross functional teams
- Ability to balance business demands and IT fulfilment in terms of standardization, reducing risk and increasing IT flexibility
- Experience in IT delivery and architecture, application design and programming in a large enterprise working on mission-critical IT systems
- Proven history of implementing technology roadmaps and providing subject matter expertise in specific technologies

- Experience managing small and medium size teams working on different projects simultaneously
- Challenges the ‘status quo’ and influences key stakeholders to ensure industry best practice is adhered to within their area of expertise
- Proven experience in a management role and in managing senior vendor/partner relationships

- Significant experience in one or more relevant technical areas
