Job Description

Reporting to our Chief Marketing Officer, as the Senior Director of Solutions and Content Marketing, you and your team will commission, write, produce, orchestrate and deliver a range of content and marketing programs to inspire, educate and convert our prospects into successful Gainsight customers and advocates.


Your Mission

  • Build the Content and Solutions Marketing team. You will work closely with Product Marketing, Corporate Marketing, Web and Demand Generation to make sure we’re thinking about the customer and their journey at every touchpoint in every industry vertical
  • Align with Sales, Customer Success and Revenue Ops on the profile and content needs of our buyers, influencers and executive sponsors at each stage of their customer success journey – from creating the function within their business to being sophisticated users of our products and services.
  • Re-imagine our nurture programs to expertly lead a prospect through every stage of their buying journey from consideration to advocacy.
  • Build out the C-level content program to create and deliver industry insights, best practices, opinion, analysis and actionable playbooks for our executive audience.
  • Manage our Tier 1, 2 and 3 launches throughout the year for customers and prospects. Our pace of innovation is game-changing – the new launch process will make sure the right granularity of information is reaching the right people at the right time.
  • We are customer zero for Gainsight and we’re exceedingly disciplined and passionate about using our own technology. Through the Gainsight on Gainsight program, share our learnings, best practices and insights with the broad Customer Success community
  • Manage our external research programs to further cement Gainsight’s position as the category leader & help our prospects, partners and customers make informed buying decisions

About You

  • A business-minded marketing professional who understands the nuances and complexities of an enterprise buying cycle and who has experience designing really varied content programs to support our prospects, our customers and our CS Community
  • You’ve had a varied career so far, you’ve done interesting things in your life and experienced corporate life outside Tech. You’re likely to have spent some time as a PMM in a fast-growing company or two and another field entirely
  • You have +15 years of experience and a track record of success. Your teams would follow you and your prior managers would have a long list of your accomplishments to willingly share.
  • You set a high bar in everything you and your team do – quality, creativity, execution, productivity and balance
  • A sense of humor, willingness to be your authentic self and a deep believer of being human-first.
  • Love of dogs and travel a big plus at Gainsight!
