This Research Project Manager will be responsible for supporting a project aimed at building capacity among decision makers, journalists, and public health practitioners in India for using evidence in shaping public knowledge, attitudes, and policy on health and with supporting implementation science projects in underserved communities. The RPM will assist the Principal Investigator in implementing the day to day study activities including the development of intervention components, project planning, and reporting.
Please note: This position is scheduled to end 2 years from project start date.
- Assisting with managing study intervention including preparation of content for study websites, webinars, and social media activities.
- Supporting the development and delivery of capacity-building trainings.
- Assisting with writing, editing, and developing communication materials, health briefs, assessment tools, and workshop materials.
- Assisting in social media componenets of the intervention
- Conducting systematic literature reviews and analyzing data.
- Preparing status reports for funding agencies and stakeholders. Depending on project needs, reports may include information about project timelines, status of deliverables, and/or resources requirements.
- Developing knowledge briefs to translate research for non-scientific audiences
- Performing administrative activities as needed – including setting up meetings and taking meeting minutes.
- Engaging with community partners and other stakehodlers as needed
- Master’s degree in Public Health or other social science highly preferred; bachelor’s degree required.
- 1 – 2 years of work experience in public health or a health-related field.
- Knowledge of Health Communication Science or Implementation Science.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills especially writing skills
- Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously and to meet deadlines.
