The team you will lead will be working with Calix account teams around the world selling our Calix Support Cloud solutions to innovative CSPs big and small and will be reporting into the Vice President, Global Cloud Solution Sales.

As leader of our global Cloud Sales team you will be responsible for a team selling to new Tier 1, 2 & 3 accounts along with established Calix customers. You will also work with Calix Product and Marketing Leadership to define the next generation of analytics-based cloud solutions at Calix as we blaze a new trail in next-generation business applications. Primarily, you will be responsible for ensuring the Calix Marketing Cloud and Revenue Edge sales team has all the tools necessary to deliver on the ambitious business goals Calix has set for them.
You will manage the day-to-day and week-to-week operations of the sales team, ensuring sales best practices are brought to bear to support high velocity, and high quality, sales performance. You will also bring your sales leadership experience to the team as you coach, develop and support their growth as sales professionals.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of sales management experience
- Track record of leading teams who over-achieving quota (top 10-20% of company) in past positions
- In depth understanding of Communications Service Provider business with specific focus on cloud enabled solutions
- Experience managing the sales cycle from business champion to the CEO/CFO/CMO level
- 10+ years of quota carrying software or technology sales or pre-sales and account management experience
- Experience managing and closing complex sales-cycles- demonstrated ownership of all aspects of territory management
- Candidates must be competitive, cooperative, collaborative and work well with customers both internal and external
- Strong computer skills, including salesforce.com, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
Desired Experience:
- Experience in managing or selling into Marketing Leaders
- Understanding marketing key challenges in the communication service provider industry
- Experience selling into Tier 1 Solution Provider customers
- Previous Sales Methodology training, CRM experience, and strong customer references preferred
- Bachelor and/or Master Degree in a Business, Commerce, or STEAM strongly preferred
