Full Job Description
Texas Health Resources seeks to hire a Project Manager II, System Transformation to work full time for their Transformation Department. This position will be customer facing.
The address is 612 East Lamar Blvd., Arlington, TX 76011.
Salary range is Minimum $32.17/hr. to Maximum $51.77/hr. – based on relevant experience

Job Description:
Scope Management
- Documents and reviews the project scope and requirements at the beginning of the project
- Collaborates with peers to identify and manage integration points with other projects and initiatives
- Develops a work breakdown structure to communicate the scope to the project team
- Tracks the scope of the project throughout the project lifecycle
- Works with team leaders to manage scope change requests or scope creep
- Documents that all project requirements are accounted for in the planning and execution of the project
- Works with analysts and team leader(s) to clearly identify project baseline performance and expected goals and/ or measurements to judge project success
- Work with team leaders(s) to ensures that scope includes processes, tools and measures for long-term project sustainability and handoff to operations, if applicable
Risk and Issue Management
- Leads the project team to identify any risks to the projects including internal , external and environmental risks
- Documents, addresses and monitors project risks
- Manages the process to assess the potential impact and probability of the identified risks
- Determines with the project team and stakeholders the appropriate response action for identified risks and creates the action plans for the agreed upon response
- Develops action plans and escalation plans, if applicable, to address project issues, including ownership assignment, due dates and stakeholder communication
Leadership, Innovation, Education, Mentoring
- Manages functional area relationships with minimal assistance or guidance from direct management
- Ensures team alignment on project goals, objectives and business outcomes
- Respond effectively to new information, situations and individuals
- Mentors less experienced PMs on the standard processes used within the SIIO
- Works with the project teams to understand how project connects to broader company goals as well as other projects and initiatives that are in progress or are planned
- Gathers and analyzes information needed to improve satisfaction levels of customers
- Assists subject matter experts to resolve project challenges
- Engages in process improvement activities for the betterment of the SIIO and THR
- Constantly seeks to improve professional and industry knowledge and develop skills to enhance the ability to provide leadership to projects and to THR
Project Communication
- Provides complete and concise project communications to project team, stakeholders and executives, including creation of presentations for various governance and leadership groups
- Works with SIIO Project Director(s) to develop project communication plans that serve as a roadmap to drive project communications, problem escalations, decision making and executive summary
- Collaborates with communications and project team to determine communications requirements outside of the project that are needed due to the impacts of the project to those outside the project team
- Utilizes appropriate communication styles to gain consent and avoid or diffuse conflict within the project teams
- Facilitates meetings involving senior leadership and/or project steering committee meetings for complex projects
- Engages in direct communication with project team members and stakeholders to develop strong relationships
- Creates meaningful and useful project status reports that include appropriate detail to describe the current state of the projects
Quality of Project Delivery
- Proactively ensures that all project deliverables are completed and goals are achieved on time and are aligned directly with the overall project requirements
- Monitors project stakeholder expectations to ensures that the project is addressing the needs of the project sponsor(s) and business owner(s)
- Ensures that the project piloting/ testing methodology encompasses all of the project requirements, when applicable
- Completes project documentation fully and at the appropriate time to provide direction for the project
- All project documentation and deliverables are expected to be of high quality
Stakeholder Engagement
- Engages the appropriate initiative leader(s) to determine the necessary stakeholder engagement and proper team resources for each project
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- 4 years’ experience with Direct Project Management, healthcare operations or consulting experience required
Skills:
- Proficient user MS Office Tools (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Visio)
- Excellent verbal, writing and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to guide multidisciplinary teams and business stakeholders in developing and delivering on project requirements
- Experience in leading multiple concurrent projects through the complete project lifecycle and managing complex integration points with other teams, as needed
