    POSITION SUMMARY

    The Project Manager will be responsible for managing small and large projects from start to finish. S/he will be responsible for managing project logistics, coordinating with Business Development and/or Account Manager, and managing the timely and accurate close of a project as needed.

    The Project Manager will be integral to the growth and success of Stak Studio and should carry a knowledge base of all event management disciplines and should have the capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously as well as demonstrate comprehensive industry knowledge.

    S/he will work closely to ensure that all event functions, the exhibit hall, and sponsorships are on budget and of exceptional quality. Key to the role is the ability to execute activities and build relationships that increase the quality and value of Stak Studio for both the client and company.

    Essential Functions

    • Develop, document and implement trade show and event strategic planning process and annual strategic plan
    • Establish and communicate Pre-show consultation and planning, venue requirements and project flow.
    • Manage projects with effective communication to be able to handle printing and shipping, budget management, related travel arrangements, staffing, show follow-up and reporting, etc. ·
    • Ensuring proper set-up, venue arrangements, and vendor coordination.
    • Manage trade show calendar, project timelines, and budget.
    • Expertly drive pre-show planning meetings, including ownership of planning documentation.
    • Build and distribute regular pre-show status reports and post-show summary report.
    • Work very closely with the team to develop and implement experiential events and activations and then manage all aspects of those events/activations from A-Z
    • Create timeline/calendar of all logistics and assist with the management of daily operations of planning functions

    Qualifications

    • Must be extremely detail oriented and have a great sense of urgency
    • 5+ years of relevant work experience in trade show leadership, including strategic planning and on the ground show management.
    • Evidence of cross functional team leadership
    • Proven success in executing multiple events using both internal and external resources
    • Excels at cross-ground collaboration, communication and problem solving
    • 2+ years executing trade shows and events within a marketing department required
    • Experience in marketing consumer products or services preferred.
    • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or relevant field of study.
    • Demonstrated success in trade show strategy, processes, systems, management and overall project management.
    • A willingness to travel (50%) and ability to work independently and autonomously.
    • Superior oral and written communication skills with an innate attention to detail.

    Requirements

    Physical: In office work is primarily sedentary; occasionally walks and/or stands. On-site at events requires long hours on persons feet.

    Manual Dexterity: Frequent use of computer keyboard and mouse.

    Audio/Visual: Ability to accurately interpret sounds and associated meanings at a volume consistent with interpersonal conversation. Regularly required to accurately perceive, distinguish and interpret information received visually and through audio (e.g. words, numbers and other data broadcasted aloud/viewed on a screen, as well as print and other media).

    Environmental: Office environment – no substantial exposure to adverse environmental conditions.
