Job Summary
Under general direction, responsible for all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned meduim to large projects and provides a single point of contact for those projects. Takes projects from original concept through final implementation. Defines project scope and objectives. Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports. Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis. Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables. Manages the integration of vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables. Provides technical and analytical guidance to project team. Recommends and takes action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems. Manages medium to large effort projects with limited supervision. This role is also responsible for providing project management guidance and mentoring to Associate Project Managers, and assistance to Analysts that perform Project Management tasks outside of the IS PMO.

This is a non-management job that will report to a supervisor, manager, director or executive.
Minimum Education
Bachelor’s Degree – Computer Science, Business Management, Healthcare Management, Project Management or related area of study.
Minimum Experience
5 years – IT or healthcare related project management

In lieu of the Above Minimum Requirements
An Associate’s Degree with 7 years of IT project management experience OR a High School Diploma with 9 years of IT project management may be considered.
