We are looking for a Product Manager II to join our high performing and collaborative TurboTax Live team. Our goal with TurboTax Live is to build a platform that transforms how consumers and tax professionals find each other and collaborate, using cutting edge technology and data science to enable virtual, smart and efficient experiences. Responsibilities
You will join the team to ensure that all our TurboTax Live customers get the benefit of connecting with experts and come back to us year-over-year. We’re looking for a PMII growth hacker. You will be responsible for finding and defining our biggest opportunities to retain our users and bring that vision to life. We need someone to deeply understand our customers, what’s important to them as they think about who will do their taxes next year, uncover insights and unleash the power of TurboTax Live to ensure we’re always there for them.
- Be the domain expert in delivering experiences in a space that matters for our customers
- Develop product/platform roadmap and requirements to solve the biggest needs of customer
- Collaborate with a team of top engineers, designers, tax professionals, marketers, analysts, and customer success to build and launch a new experiences to support your product strategy
- Define an MVP experience and quickly learn and iterate
- Dive deep into data and customer behaviors to unlock major opportunities for the business
- Ruthlessly prioritize your team’s backlog and work across teams to drive work in other areas that deliver value for our customers
- Partner with the TurboTax Live product leader and senior leadership team to advance the transformation of how Americans do their taxes.
Qualifications
- 3+ years designing and delivering world-class software products in a Product Management role
- Experience partnering with engineering and design teams to define, build, and maintain products which are critical to growth, engagement, and retention
- Experience defining requirements across web & mobile platforms
- Deep customer empathy and curiosity
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Passion for solving problems (large and small). You bring a customer centric mindset.
- Strong analytical skills paired with a data-informed mindset
- Great track record with engineers and designers: people want to work with you again.
- Self-aware with a strong desire to learn and continuously improve
- Capable of creating and decomposing a big vision into bite-size milestones
- BS in Computer Engineering or Computer Science a plus, MBA preferred or equivalent work experience
