Every year, about 40M Americans file their taxes with TurboTax. While we are the market leader in do-it-yourself taxes, we have a broader aspiration to help people be more prosperous and financially free. In addition to ensuring that taxes are easy and accurate, how do we also educate and advise people about their finances all year round? The TurboTax group has a large responsibility to our user base and contributes significantly to Intuit’s overall business.
We are looking for product managers who can take us to the next level. We are seeing the largest areas of opportunity in mobile and machine learning. For simple returns, our mobile app is the fastest way to get taxes done and delights users along the way. Because the process is very document and data intensive, we are investing heavily in machine-learning to reduce the time to enter data and personalize the experience. It’s an exciting time to join!
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineering, design, and data science to set clear product direction
- Develop a product roadmap, write requirements, and work in an agile environment
- Prioritize your team’s backlog and work across teams to drive features
- Analyze data to identify key leverage points in the core product to increase retention
- Design experiments and establish success metrics to get rapid learning
- Present regularly to the core leadership team on project deliverables
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience building and shipping consumer products, preferably ones that have reached millions of users.
- Experience working on mobile products or shipping products powered by machine-learning
- Strong interest in working on financial and tax products
- Great eye for design, experience with user research and collaboration with designers
- Deep technical understanding, and ability to earn trust with engineers
- Strong ability to analyze and interpret data, experience writing queries is a plus
