As product manager your objective is to develop a feature and product roadmap that aligns with customer requirements. In this role, you will work closely with R&D, sales, technical experts and customers that will help you understand the ever changing microfluidic and automation industry and shape your vision for the next generation of products and assays.
Responsibilities
- Create and implement a product vision and roadmap
- Execute on product vision by closely working with PerkinElmer research and development
- Forge and maintain relationships with customers to understand their needs and requirements for the next generation platform
- Collaborate with marketing to articulate product differentiation.
- Arm global sales and technical experts with product information and tools to communicate with customers
Preferred Experience
- Talent and passion for this industry
- Product management, business development, sales or strong research experience.
- Genomics/ proteomics, microfluidics or automation background is a plus
- Startup experience desirable
- Advanced degree (i.e. MS or PhD.)
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- 5+ years work experience
- Strong Microsoft Office skillset
