VCU Health System’s Project Management Office is seeking a full time PMO Project Manager 2. Leads high priority projects and programs for VCU Health System by working collaboratively with organizational leaders to provide clear project vision, value and deliverables to achieve Health System goals and ROI. Partners with business stakeholders to develop clear project plans, define project metrics and report on project status and results. Serve as a project team member utilizing performance improvement tools and facilitation to manage multiple projects that will result in measurable improvements impacting the entire enterprise.

Responsibilities
Provides effective oversight through all stages of the project life cycle.
Successfully builds partnerships with stakeholders for leading critical initiative.
Supports the organization in developing and maintaining a project pipeline that aligns with the strategic priorities of the organization.
Develops, plans, coordinates and implements project activities.
Utilizes six sigma methodologies to develop detailed data and process analysis, process mapping and data collection.
Provides effective oversight through all stages of the project life cycle.
Successfully builds partnerships with stakeholders for leading critical initiative.
Supports the organization in developing and maintaining a project pipeline that aligns with the strategic priorities of the organization.
Develops, plans, coordinates and implements project activities.
Utilizes six sigma methodologies to develop detailed data and process analysis, process mapping and data collection.
Ensures key project roles and responsibilities are defined and holds functional managers accountable for their team’s deliverables
Provides concise and timely status reports as required.
Provide continuous feedback and updates to team members and stakeholders regarding project status, accomplishments and issues.
Develops and applies statistical analysis and models.
Manages technology and business processes improvement methodologies to ensure realization of desired project goals.

Qualifications

Required
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Statistics, Healthcare Management or related field from an accredited program.
PMP certification or equivalent training/experience.
Minimum five (5) years project management experience

Preferred
Master’s Degree in Business, Statistics, Healthcare Management or related field from an accredited program

Lean, Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
