The Opportunity
We are seeking an innovative & experienced product development leader to help Pluralsight create a suite of products to enable Learners to move seamlessly through their learning journey. This person will be responsible for formulating strategic product development plans, building teams, and delivering software products that enable our Learners to discover the content they need to solve their business problems. We believe in a future where we can meet the user where they are at and provide timely communications, rewards and experiences that help them gain new skills. This leader will refine and deepen that vision and make it a reality. This leader will also understand how the needs of buyers and internal stakeholder may differ from those of our learner and craft an inclusive strategy which empowers learners to continue learning while advancing buyer strategic initiatives.

What you’ll own:

Creating and managing the vision for one or two Enablement products. The products in that group are interactive courses, gamification and community/Q&A.

The strategy that defines how our customers move through the learning loop of learn, practice, do, repeat, and re-engage them in learning if they fall out of the loop.

Accountability for execution against the business unit strategy

Experience Org and Learner Business Unit KPIs related to our Enablement products

Responsible for all aspects of product experience team formation and lifecycle (identify, prioritize, assemble, recruit, hire and manage)

Collaboration with Experience Strategy Organization (XSO) to understand the impact of your groups’ products on the overall Learner ecosystem and their impact on customer retention

Collaboration with the Practices organization to ensure flow efficient value delivery to our business and individual customers
Experience you’ll need:

Prior experience crafting strategic plans and articulating a vision for the future

Prior experience building and leading nimble product experience teams
-
Prior experience with or deep knowledge of all phases of employee management (recruit, hire, promote, terminate)

Prior experience or deep knowledge of leading product managers, designers, and software developers
-
Excellent written, oral, presentation, and interpersonal skills
-
Comfortable gathering, analyzing and synthesizing data, systems, and processes to drive product experience team success
