Head of Sales & Marketing

Your Tasks
- Strategy and planning: Develops and implements the Sales & Marketing Strategy derived from the SCHOTT Strategy. Defines and implements marketing conceptions for costumer loyality and market developments based on BU/BS targets and planning. Evaluates sales opportunities, develops customer and competitive strategies and defines prices, conditions and range policies.
- Sales: Conducts negotiations about prices and conditions within the BU targets. Ensures efficiency of sales activities. Stays in personal contact with the key accounts. Compiles ladder diagrams and ensures their compliance. Builds up the sales organization (distribution channels, distribution network and representations) and determines the sales, price and condition policies in coordination with the head of the BU. Develops and realizes sales concepts. Negotiates long-term contracts and conditions, when necessary involving the head of BU.
- Marketing: Develops methods for market observation, trend and market research. Observes analyses, interprets and evaluates the methods with regard to the effects on the BU activities. Observes and analyses the market, changes in customer behavior and competiveness. Derives suggestions for further and new developments of products and sales strategies. Initiates the implementation of market research studies on an as required basis.
- Budget : Participates in budgeting process for his/her cost center. Performs target performance comparisons, takes action in case of deviations and informs management accordingly.
- Supervision: Leads, promotes and motivates employees within area of responsibility, especially performance appraisal and goal setting agreements, successor and representative planning, personnel development and training measures.
Your Profile
- University Degree in Business/Economics
- Appr. 10 years in Marketing and Sales, experience in key account management and project management, Management and leadership experience
- Excellent command of the English language, MS Office, SAP Modul CRM
