General Manager

We are looking for a General Manager to oversee all staff and operations of our Dog Daycare and Boarding Division. General Manager responsibilities include running day to day operations, managing staff and ensuring tasks are done and procedures are followed. To be successful in this role, you should be a thoughtful leader and a confident decision-maker, supporting our staff and clients.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations
• Set policies and processes
• Create staff schedules
• Ensure employees work productively and develop professionally
• Oversee recruitment and training of new employees
• Evaluate and improve operations and financial performance
• Direct the employee assessment process
• Ordering supplies, maintain inventory
• Ensure staff follows health and safety regulations
• Provide solutions to issues (e.g. client complaints, employee conflicts,)

Skills

• Proven experience as a General Manager or similar executive role
• Knowledge of business process and functions (HR, procurement, operations etc.)
• Strong analytical ability
• Excellent communication skills
• Outstanding organizational and leadership skills
• Problem-solving aptitude

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $35,000.00 to $45,000.00 /year

Experience:

• management: 1 year (Preferred)

Education:

• Associate (Preferred)
