Financial Technology Partners LP, the only investment banking firm focused exclusively on the financial technology sector, is actively seeking an experienced Executive/Personal Assistant for our CEO. As an Executive Assistant to the CEO, you will be responsible for effectively coordinating a complex and ever changing calendar of meetings, travel, and events as would a personal concierge. The ideal candidate will be well spoken, self-sufficient, and extremely organized. Additionally, he or she must have an excellent judgment to properly prioritize multiple and potentially competing requests. Overall responsibility will be to support our CEO’s both business and personal calendar, administrative tasks, and making his days run smoothly. Responsibilities include:
- Timely and accurate coordination of internal and external meetings, including logistical details, communication, and follow-up, ensuring no detail overlooked
- Coordinate travel arrangements both domestic and international, requiring an understanding all aspects of the itinerary, including personal preferences with restaurants, amenities, and other activities
- Prepare monthly expense reports, identify and resolve all discrepancies
- Calendar management â professional and personal, this would include:
- personal care appointments
- vehicle maintenance
- entertainment and vacation planning
- Proactively and frequently check in with CEO, particularly available and responsive while he is on the road
- Accurately update contact information in Outlook and CRM database
- Maintain and protect confidentiality with regard to all aspects of CEO, client, and company information
- Personal and special projects as directed
Desired Skills, Background, & Qualifications

- 5+ years Executive Assistant or Personal Assistant experience, preferably in the Financial Services or Professional Services (Consulting, Law, Advisory, etc.) industries
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail; demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness
- Exceptional verbal and written communications skills
- Proactive and self-motivated able to anticipate the needs of others
- Ability to juggle multiple assignments and prioritize effectively; demonstrates sense of urgency
- Manages competing demands well; able to deal with change, delays, or unexpected events
- Ability to follow process and procedures; looks for ways to improve and promote quality
- Self-starter, able to work independently and as team player, able to successfully collaborate across office and departments
- A positive, enthusiastic approach to work and collaboration
