    The role

    The role is for the Executive Assistant to a company’s Founder, with an interest for a future PR or communications career. The candidate will perform office duties (phones, client records, CEO’s personal and travel schedule, and editorial assistants) during the day and assist with PR events some evenings. This is a fantastic opportunity for a college graduate with a concentration in English, Communications/PR, and Marketing.

    The role is full-time. Mondays through Fridays (9am-6pm) are required, can be trained for evening events.

    Qualifications:

    · College graduate

    · Excellent verbal, writing, and organizational skills

    · Refined, poised presence on the telephone and with clients

    · Experience in office administration is not required, but a plus

    · Experience with general IT troubleshooting

    · Energy and ability to keep up in a fast-paced office

    · Resilient and ambitious

    · Comfort in fast-paced environment with ability to balance multiple projects and interface with senior level

    · Attention to detail

    · Fast typist (wpm 70+)

    Responsibilities [including, but not limited to]:

    · Measuring the priority of calls, emails, and other communication to ensure swift and timely responses

    · Maintaining office administrative tasks, such as scanning, updating files, client clippings, general IT troubleshooting, answering phones, organizing in-house communications, and upholding well-timed initiatives and follow-ups

    · Assistance to the Founder, such as scheduling, assisting the editorial and PR teams, organizing records, PR project/event coordination

    · Working with editorial assistants and knowing when to ask for support

    · Preserving an upbeat, hard-working, and patient disposition

    · Working with social media, PR and editorial teams and acting as a liaison between them

    · Working in collaboration with cultural institutions and thought leaders on personal projects

    · Confidence on the phone and in-person with new people
